Which group suits me?

Every trip has a level, so you can pick a trip that suits you.

Beginner

You run 1–2 times a week and can do 10 km at an easy pace. No mountain experience needed. We keep the daily stages shorter, walk the steep climbs and take plenty of breaks.

All levels

The trip suits both you who are new to trail and you who run long. On base camp trips there are usually two groups (see below), and you choose your group each day.

Intermediate–advanced

You run several times a week and are used to long runs in hilly terrain. Expect 20–35 km a day with lots of climbing, sometimes off trail.

Advanced

You have run long races or multi-day trips on foot and enjoy technical terrain. The days are long and need good fitness, and on point-to-point trips you carry a pack as well.

Two kinds of trips

Base camp

We stay in the same place for the whole trip and do day runs with a light pack. A hot shower and the same bed every night.

Point to point

We run on every day and carry what we need. Nights in a tent, cabin or mountain hut along the way.

The groups on base camp trips

On our base camp trips we usually split into two groups, so everyone can run at their own pace. You can change group from day to day.

Fika-group – you run 1–2 times a week and can do 10 km. Pace is not important. Routes are usually 10–20 km.

Lost Goats group – you run several times a week and have experience of running both on and off trail. The group moves faster and routes are usually 20–35 km with lots of climbing and technical terrain.
